All Souls’ Remembrance

Dear Friends of Our Lady of Dallas,

All Souls’ Day, November 2, is a wonderful occasion for us to remember our loved ones who have gone before us and to reflect on the mystery of the Resurrection.  This year, we hold especially in our prayers Cabot Webb, Class of 2029, who passed away this past weekend. It is meaningful that All Souls’ Day falls on a Sunday this year. Please join us for Sunday Mass at 9:00 a.m. on November 2, as together we enter once again into the mystery of Christ’s death and resurrection, strengthening our bonds with one another and with the deceased in the Risen Christ.

As in the past, we will print the names of deceased relatives and friends for whom you would like us to pray.  To have names included in the list, please submit names electronically on this page by Monday, October 20.

Finally, on that same Sunday, November 2 at 3:00 p.m., we will host in the Abbey Church a special program with organ and chorale music to celebrate the installation of our new organ and to bless it. You will receive a separate mailing detailing the program. Please join us that afternoon.

And please continue to remember the Cistercian community in your prayers, as we remember you in ours.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Abbot Peter Verhalen
