Art Exhibit
Stop by the Irving Arts Center to see artwork from Cistercian Preparatory School’s Middle and Upper School students, on display in the Courtyard Gallery through May 10. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 5 PM. Admission is free.

Stations of the Cross
Did you know? Cistercian’s campus features a dedicated Stations of the Cross trail, offering students a place to walk, pray, and reflect in the beauty of nature.
First Harvest
After weeks of prep and hard work, students in the Ag Elective enjoy their first harvest of arugula.
Form VI Gliders
Form VI students put their glider designs to the test after weeks of planning, simulations, and construction. After a month of work, they finally launched their individually built gliders, seeing their designs take flight.
BraveArt 2025
Upper School students explored a variety of artistic disciplines during the annual BraveArt Festival on Friday. From silversmithing to printmaking, students engaged in hands-on workshops led by guest artists. The day concluded with the reveal of a new senior metal sculpture, “Christ the Redeemer.”
Form III Rockets
3, 2, 1, liftoff! Form III was “out to launch” in near perfect weather conditions. After the students help one another with rocket preparation, class anticipation builds from countdown to launch to hopeful recovery of each rocket.
Fr. Damian Sculpture
On Sunday, Fr. Abbot Peter dedicated a Fr. Damian sculpture and plaque donated by alum Kevin Spencer ’85 in honor of James Harnett, Sr.
Soccer Champions!
Still undefeated after three seasons and 1,104 days, Cistercian Varsity Soccer won their hard-fought final match against Houston’s Awty International School to bring home their third SPC Championship in a row.
Thy Kingdom Come
The more I reflect on the petitions of the Our Father, the more I’m convinced that I have no idea what I’m praying when I mumble those words multiple times every day.
The current object of my loving mystification is “Thy kingdom come.” In an effort to be slightly less intimidated by this vast and marvelous petition, I will arrange my musings as responses to the time-honored journalistic questions.
