Hawk Happenings

Angel Tree

Angel Tree

Form I’s Angel Tree Project for St. Vincent de Paul was a huge success! Every single gift slot was filled, thanks to the generosity of our Form I families.

Musical Revue

Musical Revue

Upper School performed their musical revue for a packed theater of Middle School students. The standing-room-only crowd sang along to Christmas carols, enjoyed Broadway hits, and laughed at comedic sketches.

Faculty Party

Faculty Party

Faculty and staff gathered for good food, laughter, and great company. It was a wonderful way to celebrate Christmas together.

Coffee House

Coffee House

Coffee House brought the Christmas spirit to life as high school students took the stage to perform for their classmates and guests. With cozy Christmas pajamas, steaming hot chocolate (a few burnt tongues included), and plenty of talent, the evening was a wonderful celebration of music, laughter, and holiday cheer. Thank you to all the performers for making it a night to remember!

“Basilicakes” projects

“Basilicakes” projects

In middle school, our students begin their language journey with Latin. By high school, they study either Spanish or French. To connect their language studies with theology, freshmen select a basilica from a Spanish or French-speaking country and create an artistic representation of it.

Form VII Retreat

Form VII Retreat

The Form VII retreat brought our juniors together for two days in East Texas to focus on self-reflection, faith, and community.

Hawks Soccer

Hawks Soccer

Soccer season is here, and our Hawks are ready to dominate the field in both middle school and upper school competition!

Reflections on the Lord’s Prayer, Our Father

Reflections on the Lord’s Prayer, Our Father

The Our Father is the most familiar of all Christian prayers. Its constant recitation inevitably leads to a glazing of our mental eyes, rendering us numb to the shocking permission Jesus grants us in the opening words. He invites us, even requires us, to claim familiarity with God. “Pray like this,” Jesus tells those gathered for His Sermon on the Mount: “Our Father, who art in Heaven…” (Matthew 6:9).
