Service at Bella House

On Saturday three freshmen and two juniors joined Coach Dorn and Fr. John to do yardwork for Bella House, which is a faith-based residence for homeless, pregnant women. After two hours, they had packed up the Christmas lights, raked and mowed the lawn. The Bella House served 53 women last year. It was wonderful to contribute even in some small way to such important work.

A group of Cistercian seniors attended a special talk with aviation pioneer Steven Udvar-Hazy at Circle T Ranch in Westlake. Through our partnership with the Junior World Affairs Council, students had a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from one of the leaders who helped shape the modern aviation industry.
