CISTERCIAN BEGINS OUR 61st ACADEMIC YEAR! And, we do so as excitedly as we did that very first year.
Blessed with a vibrant community of dedicated men and women (monks, faculty, coaches, and staff) working hand in hand with absolutely incredible students and their parents, Cistercian forms and educates academically talented young men in the venerable 200 year Cistercian Tradition of our Hungarian founders. Part of this tradition is helping students to harness and direct their copious energy, potential, and excitement as individuals who know they are loved and who are being called to love in turn.
In this common effort, each student is joined by a host of classmates who over four to eight years become brothers for life and, as they mature together, come to discover their deepest happiness in the search for Truth Itself, the face of God shining all around them, in and through their different academic disciplines/fields, in the wonders of nature and of the sacraments, in the comradery of athletics and extracurriculars, in the various circumstances of their lives, and in the faces of each person they encounter in their journey through this life, among other ways.
Our mission at Cistercian is to nourish, mentor, and expand the minds and hearts of such lifelong learners by providing an exceptional, proven, and all-honors academic program, by imparting the enduring values of Catholic education, and by offering personal guidance and support with understanding and with love.
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope you will also have an opportunity to visit our beautiful 82-acre campus, a natural “oasis” in the heart of the Metroplex, to see firsthand all the ways Cistercian seeks “To Enkindle and To Enlighten” the students entrusted to our care.
“What can bring us happiness many say? Let the light of your face shine upon us, O Lord.” (Psalm 4:7)
