Form I boys built solar ovens in science class last week. They then used those solar oven to make s’mores! The students were learning how to harness the sun’s infrared radiation to heat the s’mores, just as the IR radiation heats our planet when the sun’s radiation is trapped in the Earth’s atmosphere.
