The award, which is named after the esteemed football coach and Athletic Director, is presented annually to the senior who most exhibits the values of sportsmanship, leads his teammates to grow in character, and achieves a high level of academic achievement. It stands as a reminder to each Hawk athlete about the values and virtues he should be striving toward.
