The Jim and Lynn Moroney Award is given annually to an Alumnus “whose spiritual commitment to Cistercian is very much aflame and whose dedicated work on behalf of the Cistercian family enkindles our hope for the future.”

With more than a third of his class in attendance to celebrate the occasion, it was a special and joyful evening at this year’s Jim and Lynn Moroney award Dinner honoring Luis Barbero ’91. Introduced by George Cruz ’91, Luis accepted his award with grace and quiet humor while expressing his gratitude for the role Cistercian has played in his life.
