A Senior has set out to track down, observe and document all bird species that live on our 84-acre campus. In a time-honored fashion by centuries of scientist and also inspired by the artwork of alumnus Billy Hassell ‘74, he decided to not only list the species and where and when he spotted it, but also he documented it with a painting. He by now has painted 70+ species and an example of his artwork was part of our fall homecoming online auction. He is working now on a research project with the Audubon center in Dallas.
