Yesterday the English and World Languages departments hosted a literary colloquium on literature from the Latin American Boom. Students from numerous area high schools wrote and presented papers on short stories selected for the event.

Service Day

To honor the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., students in the Upper School spent today doing community service throughout the Dallas Metroplex. Some built ramps, some restocked shelves, some sorted food at the Food Bank, some built furniture. All gave back to their community.

Board Games for StudyTime

Form III students purchased and collected a veritable mound of board games of all varieties to be donated to young students at St. Vincent de Paul’s StudyTime program. The gifts are an effort to bring some Christmas cheer to the youth.
