The University of Notre Dame has a Science & Religion Initiative that offers continuing education for leaders, administrators and educators involved in the disciplines of science and religion. On January 27, Fr. John Bayer and Dr. Martina Kroll presented a lesson plan feature called “The Scientific Human and the Human Scientist,” where they shared resources such as videos, slides, and other teaching materials from their lesson plan on the scientific method, its philosophical presuppositions and the uniquely human character of science. After the lesson plan showcase, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and to discuss the lesson plan.
