The Community Service council gathered a car full of toys to donate to be taken to the Cardinal Farrell Community Center for distribution to families served by Catholic Charities Immigration and Legal Services program.
In early December about a dozen members of the Cistercian community volunteered at a major food-packing event held at the Irving Convention Center.
Toward the end of the fall semester, Form II made their second field study of the year to the Crow Museum of Asian Art in Dallas.
On November 16, several Cistercian students from Forms V, VI and VII went with Fr. John to serve at Rays of Light, a charity serving children with special needs and their families.

Form I students are working hard on designing their bridges to be tested before Christmas break. We can’t wait to see what they come up with!
The Hawks Cross Country team finished their season with a strong showing at the SPC Championships.
In honor of Veterans Day, Naval Veteran Mark Roppolo ’88 spoke with the freshmen of Form V about his time at the Naval Academy and in the service, where he served multiple tours as a pilot. Roppolo gave a short history of Veterans Day and challenged the young men to greatness through service and leadership.
