United Soccer Coaches Honors Coach Walsh

United Soccer Coaches has selected Cistercian’s own Coach JP Walsh as the 2025 Texas High School Coach of the Year! This recognition celebrates Coach Walsh’s leadership of the Hawks’ championship-winning season and his longstanding impact on the Cistercian soccer program.

In addition to the state honor, Coach Walsh has also been selected as Texas’s nominee for Regional Coach of the Year. Regional winners will be selected later this year, with winners going on to compete for the National Coach of the Year award.

Please join us in congratulating Coach Walsh on this well-deserved honor.

Beware the Ides of Form I

In Form I Social Studies, fifth graders were introduced to the life of Julius Caesar. Three students claimed to be the real Caesar, but only one was telling the truth. The other two were imposters. Using clues from each presentation, the rest of the class had to decide who was authentic.

Clean Water Supplies

Students in Forms VI and VII packed clean water supplies, including water bottles and iodine tablets, along with hygiene products such as soap and hand sanitizer, to be sent to communities around the world where access to clean water is limited.
