Another Reunions Weekend on the books! Thanks to everyone who helped make this one particularly special.
It was great to see so many alumni, current students, and parents at the Hawks Golf Tournament on Friday. A host of brave runners started Saturday morning on our Cross-Country Trail for the 5K followed by basketball, soccer, pickleball, and quiz bowl tournaments. Barbecue, face painting, balloon animals and snow cones made for a fun day!
The most meaningful moment of the weekend is captured in these photos, as alumni and alumni parents gathered in the weight room for the dedication of the vestibule in the lower level of the gym. This space now houses the Hillary Award sculpture, plaques recognizing all Hillary Award recipients, and “Pillar,” the poem Tom Pruit wrote following Coach Hillary’s passing.
The weekend culminated on Sunday when the community gathered for Mass and a reception celebrating alumni families and the Memorare Society.
